Our beekeepers!
High-quality honey can be distinguished by fragrance, taste, and consistency.
When liquid, pure honey should drizzle from a spoon in a straight stream, landing upon itself to form layers that gently merge into each other.
When solid, it should be smooth and creamy, with a fudge like consistency.
We are the authentic ambassadors of Manuka.
Selected by the New Zealand government for our excellence and expertise in monoflorals.
We participated in the Manuka Honey Science project to develop the Manuka Export Definition.
Our export grade Manuka honey carries NZ Government Certification of it's quality and identity.
Beekeeping and processing techniques differ around the world.
We do not feed sugar to our hives.
We extract at low temperatures to keep hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) levels low.
The result is that our honey products are some of the best you will ever taste. Pure & simple.
We don't heat treat or ultra-filter our honey. Instead we keep the natural pollens and enzymes active.
We use a soft set cold creaming process to give our Manuka a deliciously smooth, velvety texture.
This all means that our honey melts in your mouth, as pure and natural as the day it was made.
There's much more to Manuka Honey production than you would think. It's a historic honey crop in both New Zealand and Australia, with different flavour profiles in each place.
The purest comes from New Zealand's remote Manuka forests where only Leptospermum scoparium grows. That's what our NZ crop is.
We love our customers, but due to COVID19 policies we need to ensure health and safety protocols are observed. Our offices and factories are closed to the general public, except for prearranged on site visits. Staff are now working remotely.
You can book us in for a Video Conference, wherever you are in the world, at any time.
